“Love isn’t something you find. Love is something that finds you.” – Lovetta Young.
Recently I came across this quote during one of my many excursions around the mystical land that is ‘The Internet’, and it got me thinking; how important is Love for a good life, a complete life?
Before we try and find an answer for this question, let me ask you something. Have you ever been in Love? If your answer is “yes”, how many times have you been in Love? If your reply to this is something along the lines of Shahrukh Khan’s famous dialogue, “Hum ek baar jite hain, ek baar marte hain, shaadi bhi ek hi baar hoti hai, aur pyaar, pyaar bhi ek hi baar hota hai”, you my friend are very filmy. I personally believe that love can happen multiple times, sometimes you fall in love with multiple people and if you’re lucky, you fall in love multiple times, with the same person. Whatever your style is, you do you; just try not to hurt anyone. In your gamble at life, don’t bet against someone else’s heart.
The reality of our generation is that we are twisted in our own ways, we fall in love very easily, and we also tend to fall out of love equally fast. We live in an age of instant gratification, we want everything now, we want love now, we want the butterflies that come along with it now, we desire the cute messages, the perfect pictures, the #Couple goals, but do we really want love in all its totality, because let’s face the truth is Love is messy.
We all have an image in our mind, of what love must look like, what Love will be like, the things Love will like, the things Love will hate, the love he/she will give to you. We all dream of our very own ‘Happily ever afters’, but the sad reality is that most of us don’t get a forever, Instead most of us have to make do with a sometimes or for a little whiles. Love while beautiful, doesn’t always last. Sometimes Love has to leave, even when it wants to stay, it can’t and at times maybe love shouldn’t. Don’t let this deter you from falling in Love, even in all its messiness love remains beautiful. For in a world such as ours Life is hard, it hurts, and love remains the only comfort in this harsh life. When love arrives at your door, weary from its travels, a little broken, a little hurt, welcome it with a open heart and open arms and when Love leaves, ask him to leave the door open behind him, and tell Love “Thanks for stopping by”.
People say Love hurts, but the truth is that Love doesn’t hurt, loving the wrong people does. In this world of hurt love may be the only thing worth living for, and that my friends is how important love is. It helps crank up the quality of our boring, monotonous lives. So be crazy, and never stop loving, because life is too short to give up on something this great. (Fall in Love Again)
Thanks for stopping by.. (Fall in Love Again)
